CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea – Humphreys Middle School welcomed distinguished guests from Gyeonggi Province for a campus visit hosted by Principal Ms. Tremarco on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Visitors included Professor Park Gil-Chul from Pyeongtaek University, representatives from the Gyeonggido Hwaseongosan Office of Education, and the principal and board members from Shinhan High School. The purpose of the visit was to observe American classroom practices and tour the HMS campus.

Guests were impressed by the cleanliness and excellent maintenance of the school, as well as Ms. Tremarco’s open-door leadership style. They noted how warmly she greeted students and how actively she remained engaged in daily school life.

“It is always an eye-opening experience to see how American classrooms differ from those in Korean schools,” Professor Park shared.

As visitors observed classrooms across the campus, representatives from the Gyeonggido Hwaseongosan Office of Education commented on the positive, caring learning environments and emphasized that strong leadership was evident throughout the school.

“It was such a pleasure welcoming our host-nation principals and officials to our campus,” Ms. Tremarco said. “Visits like this help us strengthen friendships and spark new ideas for fun and meaningful activities between our schools. We’re looking forward to all the great things we can create together.”

The visit highlighted Humphreys Middle School’s collaborative culture with its host-nation partners and its continued commitment to student-centered learning.
