CAMP HUMPHREYS – Music is truly bringing Humphreys Middle School students together, with the school’s state-of-the-art auditorium hosting numerous holiday performances for the Humphreys community to enjoy.

On Dec. 3, Ms. Ford’s music classes performed for parents and the community, showcasing their incredible talent and hard work. The following day, Dec. 4, Mr. Lambertson’s classes took the stage, delighting the audience with their musical prowess.

The excitement continued Dec. 16, when the 8th Army Band visited the school auditorium to perform for students. Their performance was a spectacular display of musical excellence and a wonderful treat for students and teachers.

Capping off this festive month, the Humphreys Youth Orchestra, a community orchestra comprised of Humphreys Middle School and Humphreys High School students, performed their Winter Concert on Dec. 18. Their concert was a beautiful demonstration of collaboration and dedication, leaving the community in awe. During the concert, three former HMS Phoenix students who are now Blackhawk freshman at Humphreys Hight School received the President’s Gold Volunteer service award.

These events have not only highlighted the musical talents of our students but also strengthened the bonds within our school and community. We are proud of our young musicians and grateful for the support from parents, teachers, and the Humphreys community.
